Rebecca’s main focus in Romania is directing a ministry called “On Eagles’ Wings” (from Exodus 19:4). On Eagles’ Wings is dedicated to helping poor, Roma children get an education and break the cycle of illiteracy. This includes picking up the children from school, helping with homework and actually teaching children how to read and write so they can enter school. However, as important as schooling is, On Eagles’ Wings ultimate goal is to help the children understand salvation and why we need Jesus. Every day after school, we start the homework program with lunch and a Bible study using different tools like pictures, maps and even acting out the different stories to help the children truly comprehend Bible history.

On Eagles’ Wings is an outreach of Calvary Chapel Bucharest. Rebecca also serves on staff of CCB helping wherever is needed; whether it is cleaning, driving, children’s church or hosting a team.
