Olson - Papua New Guinea

The Olsons, in partnership with the Amphlett people of Papua New Guinea, are translating the Bible into the Gumawana language. The 370+ speakers of Gumawana live on 5 of the more than 25 islands that make up the Amphletts.

They are nearing the completion of the New Testament. The Olsons began their work in 1984.
