In Northern Ethiopia there are 24 million people in the Tigray & Amhara regions and less than 1% are Christian. Both regions have been closed to the gospel for centuries. The people are Ethiopian Orthodox religious. They have crosses, bibles, Orthodox Churches, and all the “religious stuff”, but when you mention Jesus they get angry. We believe them to be modern day Pharisees. When you ask them, “Where wi+ you spend eternity?” They reply, “I do not know.” We know the only way they can know is through Jesus.
e3 Partners Expedition Teams are reaching out to them with the compassion of Jesus through eyeglass clinics, medical clinics, foot washings, HIV/Aids education, Malaria education and community health education. Our Ethiopian brothers & sisters are in the community building relationships, looking for “persons of peace” and sharing the gospel. Churches are being planted….the harvest is plentiful…
